Histological Origin and Anaplastic Behavior of Neoplasms Diagnosed in Canines in Guatemala (2015-2019)

The present study sought to statistically relate the histological origin and anaplastic behavior of neoplasms diagnosed in Pathology Unit Faculty Veterinary Medicine Zootechnics University San Carlos Guatemala years 2015 2019, as well associate race, age, sex affected body system. A total 1,162 canine samples were diagnosed, a subsample 289 cases was determined by systematic stratified random sampling proportional allocation each year. Regarding origin, 44% epithelial neoplasms, 29% connective derivatives, 12% other types, 4% endothelial, 1% nervous. Concerning behavior, 51% benign 49% malignant. Likewise, it that mostly females, pure breeds, canines 7-10 years, integumentary system soft tissues.
